SUN PEAKS WINTER FUN
Sun Peaks Resort is British Columbia's second largest ski area and has vast and varied terrain across three mountains that are uncrowded with virtually no lift lines. Mount Tod, Mount Morrissey and Sundance Mountain are linked together to present the skiers with a full compliment of challenges for all levels of ability. Sun Peaks boasts 3,678 acres of terrain, including two
alpine bowls, 122 trails and the nine-acre Rockstar Energy Terrain Park. At 2,152 metres, Sun Peaks averages around 220” of snow annually. For the more experienced, there are steep narrow chutes, extreme steeps, and treed terrain. For beginners and intermediates, there are lengthy cruisers, a lot of beginner terrain, gentle slopes and groomed wide intermediate trails. A family-friendly resort, it is smartly laid out with trails of every ability level from beginner to expert accessible from the top of each chairlift. And all those trails wind back to “Canada’s Best Ski-in Ski-out Village” according to Ski Canada Magazine in 2009. Sun Peaks’ European-style Village is home to 19 different restaurants, dozens of boutiques and shops and nine hotels connected by covered walkways. Restaurants in the Village range in everything from pub food to fine dining. And remember the sunscreen! You get all this under blue skies and 2,000 hours of sunshine a year! Enjoy Sun Peaks skiing.
